Before you lift heavier, sprint faster, or train harder, one question matters: How well does your body move today? That’s where Functional Movement Screening (FMS) comes in—and at Guerrilla Performance & Recovery, it’s a foundational tool in both training and therapy programs.
Functional Movement Screening is a systematic assessment that evaluates how you move: joint ranges, muscular control, mobility, stability and core strength. It highlights compensations, imbalances and movement limitations that could affect your performance or cause injury.
Rather than guessing what’s holding you back, our coaches and therapists start with objective data—so you train smarter, recover faster and move better.
When you arrive for your FMS, we guide you through a series of standardized tests: squats, lunges, hinges, overhead reaches, rotation, and stability drills. We measure clearly, not just visually.
From there our team uncovers where your movement breaks down, why it breaks down, and how to correct it. Your next steps might include:
